Designer Antonio Marras took us through a journey to the heart of the Sahara at the Kenzo Runway show for the Spring 2010 season.

“Alberto Sanchez started his career as a young boy. He always liked fashion design. Since he was a young boy his grandmother and mother were teaching him about fashion. He would watch while they were making clothes and they gave him the real education in fashion. He has studied fashion design at F.I.T and at Meyer School Of Design” – Alberto Sanchez Couture
Gottex presented an edgy and daring Spring 2010 runway presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with pieces that ranged from artistic hand-crafted details to elegant prints. We would described this collection as a new take on the beachwear and swimwear.
“It’s 70s Morocco, but a bit modern, sexy, beachy. The colors are very steamy and romantic, smoldering,” says Kimora Lee Simmons. “I love color, the whole sultriness of it, the opulence of the people and the culture.”
Until next season Fashionites; the road of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has been well traveled and navigated to say the least. And what better way to end such a glorious journey then to attend the exclusive Amex 3.1 Phillip Lim runway show?
