Though Christian Siriano is not using his infamous word “Fierce” much these days, he delivered just that. Beautifully, in a subtle way, through unspoken words.  Simple and elegant are two words to describe Christian Siriano’s Fall 2012.  For this season’s ready-to-wear Siriano’s inspiration came from the 1930’s film “The Vampire Bat”.

Norma Kamali use to believe that the 1960’s was the most exciting time for fashion. As the keynote speaker for the 3rd Annual Fashion 2.0 Awards founded by the Style Coalition, Norma concluded that tomorrow and today is the best time for fashion for its marriage of online technology and social media.

Fred Butler Spring/Summer 2012

“Sonic Sinuate Supertemporal Sequestador”, the title to accessory designer Fred Butler‘s Spring/Summer 2012 collection.  Showcasing her first live presentation at the Somerset House  during London Fashion Week, Fred Butler uses her signature psychedelic use of color to express her inspiration.

InAisce Fall/Winter 2011/12

Now in his fourth season, the creative mind behind label InAisce showed a unisex collection at 144 5th ave between 18th and 19th streets during New York Fashion Week.  Jona who is InAisce presented his Fall/Winter 2011-2012 at a loft space in which he set the stage and mood through the set design that transported Ashen Tundra.
