Location: 1501 Broadway

Cuisine: American

Items: 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 burger, 1 dessert, 1 cocktail.

Best Dish: The nachos were awesome, the Steak was cooked perfectly but the fried shrimp is the must-have! These seafood marvels are big and juicy, with a light buttery flavor. Despite being deep fried they are also not greasy at all.

Overall: Great atmosphere, great service, and great food. What more can we say?

Express and R&B superstar Robin Thicke took over New York City’s Time Square to commemorate the grand opening of their newest retail space. The beautifully manicured store features a slew of the latest offerings from Express, for both men and women. There was literally something for everyone. We found the store to be quite spacious, stands three stories high and 22,500-square feet. Chairman and CEO Michael Weiss even jokingly described the store by saying, “It’s Express on steroids“. Additionally, the store is very tech-friendly, with LED walls and screens, interactive iPads, mobile points of sale, and on-site charging stations to enhance the shopping experience.

Restaurant Review: The Pitch & Fork

by Desha Winborne

Location: 1606 1st Avenue New York NY 10028

Cuisine: Gastropub

Items: 4 cocktails, 3 appetizers, 3 entrees

Best Dish: We thoroughly enjoyed everything we tasted but the burger stands out as a major favorite.  The crispy fries that accompany the burger are some of the best in the city. The Gruyere croquettes are also a must-have.  These little orbs are the best cheese-filled gourmet tater tots.

Restaurant Review: Ken and Cook

by Desha Winborne

Location: 19 Kenmare Street

Cuisine: Contemporary American

Items: 1 raw bar item, 1 meat and cheese platter, 4 Entrees, 3 Cocktails, 2 Hard Ciders

Cost: 167.00 (Before Tipping and after-tax)

Best Dish: For true meat lovers the lamb shank is a must! The meat is tender and flavorful. If you desire something less cave man-esque go for the scallops, the light fresh sauce is amazing!

Overall: A small living space with friendly energetic staff and great food.  The space is pretty tight so you like a lot of space between you and your neighbor visit during off-peak hours.  We went at around 7 on a Wednesday and the venue was almost at capacity.
