Best Dish: We adored the pizza, the crust is crisp and delicious and the taste of truffle is amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the squid ink pasta, who knew ink would taste so good!

After the cocktail we dove into our pizza appetizer. The pizza is a good size for a personal meal or a shared app. We chose the PORCINI E TARTUFO a light flavorful pizza with wild mushroom, mozzarella di bufala, black truffle. This was an exquisite pizza. It was just enough to rev our appetites for the following pasta course.
As pastas go we generally stick with what we know but the chance to try a pasta infused with squid ink was just too interesting to pass up. TAGLIOLINO NERO features squid ink pasta, lobster, spicy tomato sauce. I am so glad we took a chance. The flavor of the squid ink pasta is indescribable. The noodles were firm al dente and the sauce had just a little kick. It was lightly spiced so the heat didn’t distract from the flavor.
After the pasta we enjoyed the Chilean sea bass. The thick meaty fish was served with a potato, crispy fennel, and a red wine reduction. The crispy fennel was a great textural compliment to the moist fish.
For our final entrée we ordered the Chicken Agrodolce, a spice encrusted pounded chicken breast sliced and smothered in a rich orange honey sauce and served with crispy potatoes. The moist tender chicken was delicious and the sauce a lightly sweet treat that ushered right into the dessert course.
B & Co nyc makes daily desserts and provides a visual sample carted to your table to help with your decision. I like the concept of seeing exactly what I am getting before it arrives at my table. Based on looks alone we chose the cannoli and the super tasty pistachio cake. The cannoli is lightly sweet with smooth velvety ricotta based filling inside the crisp outer crust. The pistachio cake is moist and soft with a creamy texture. The pistachio mousse is phenomenal.
B & Co has only been open 4 short months but is primed to become one of the east sides best eateries. The space is lively and relaxed and the food is exquisite. Service is impeccable, on your visit prepare to be treated as a VIP no matter where you may be seated. The staff is friendly knowledgeable and ready to make your meal an enjoyable experience in dining.
