Last week, we descended on the Henri Bendel Flagship store in NYC as they played host to an ethical shopping event showcasing new arrivals from Same Sky Jewelry. During the event, Same Sky Bracelets presented their summer and resort collections in bright tribal colors like burnt orange, fuchsia, and Rainforest Green.
This past weekend we were treated to a day on the water hosted by Bowmore Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The event was organized by the wonderful folks at Liquor.com and they couldn’t have planned for better weather. Guests sailed aboard a 158-foot schooner. A dozen attendees got to play sailor as they raised the main sail along with the boat’s crew. This allowed for a smooth trip around the tip of Manhattan. The day-trippers had picture postcard views of the Statue of liberty and the New York City skyline.

Shoppers also met Maksim Chmerkovskiy of Dancing with the Stars as he shopped for the perfect timepiece for his own dad. “I was excited to help Nordstrom shoppers pick out the right gift for Dad on Father’s Day,” says Maksim Chmerkovskiy of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. “Every man needs a statement timepiece, and the Timex Intelligent Quartz Collection watches are sophisticated, functional, and also affordable.”

The second annual ShowStoppers took place yesterday at IconLA in conjunction with E3. The event kicked off with a press conference for Wemade Entertainment where Kisung Kim discussed eight new games the company will be launching for mobile gaming devices. The games ranged from multi-player online role playing and social enhanced game play to online strategy and defense and multi-player combat. Of the eight games one that stuck out was Friend Fighter.
