SoulCycle Riding with Wendy Williams

Earlier this week we headed over to SoulCycle in Chelsea, New York City for a Soul Train Themed cycle with talk show diva and Soul Train Awards host, Wendy Williams. The awards celebrates and honors R&B legends and soul music’s brightest new stars. We enjoyed an exclusive mix of Soul Train classics and hits from this year’s nominees (Beyoncé, Chris Brown, Pharrell Williams and more). The class was lead by two of our SoulCycle favorites, String and Taye. These two give great energy, encouraging words, and makes you want to attend the class again and again. Williams on the other hand disappointed us by making a quick introduction, recorded some fake footage on a bike, and then leaving because she was “tired”. Oh Wendy!

Wendy Williams Goes Nude for PETA [Photo]

Talk show queen Wendy Williams appears in a sexy new PETA campaign declaring, “I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur,” to urge shoppers to join her in crossing fur off their lists.

Williams, who once wore mink and fox fur, had a change of heart after learning from PETA about the cruel ways in which animals are raised and killed for their fur. “We should all try to be comfortable in our own skin and let animals keep theirs,” says Wendy.

Wendy also encourages people who have fur coats to donate them to PETA so that they can be given to the homeless. PETA is working with shelters in Wendy’s home state of New Jersey on coat drives this winter—something that is in great demand as the numbers of needy and displaced people have increased following Hurricane Sandy.

Bank of America is known to be all about community, inclusion and diversity. Therefore, it was only right to include one of the most successful corporations in the country; to be a part of such a miraculous night. Being a global company enables Bank of America to bring worldwide attention to a cause that is a global epidemic.
