A sharply dressed man is a good man to find, and we were surrounded by them during the Nautica 2012 presentation. Held at the pool deck of the empire hotel, the presentation featured 2 distinct ideals. Half of the collection was simplistic, filled with crisp whites and the brands trademark blue.
Nautica and Newark’s Prudential Center have teamed up for a unique series of concerts. The series features several major players and crosses all genres of music from neo-soul to classical. Team JSD was fortunate enough to be invited to attend one of their biggest to date just a few short weeks ago.
Earlier this week, Nautica unveiled their new partnership with the Prudential Center. Appropriately titled the Nautica Concert Series at Prudential Center, followed by an exclusive fashion show featuring NJ Devil Hockey Alumni’s Jim Dowd, Brice Driver, Ken Daneyko, Grant Marshall, Rob Skrlac and Randy Velischek. Radio voice of the New Jersey Devils, Matt Loughlin, served as the emcee.
Upon entering, I found myself checking for the items I wanted to take with me on my next boating excursion. Subsequently, I had to remind that my mission was to examine this new collection more objectively.
On September 10th, during Mercedes Benz Fashion week, NAUTICA presented its Spring 2011 Collection at the Donald and Mary Oenslager Gallery, the Library of Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. Thirty models featured the easy-to-wear American classics of NAUTICA. Chris Cox, the creative director, love of the sea was clearly evident in the collection that was inspired by “the spirit of the water”.
