Nautica Men’s 2011 Fall Collection is inspired by the Maritime Heritage of the Sleeping Bear region of the Lake Michigan, part of America’s Great Lakes region. In Fact, I was compelled by the Navy Knit Sail Jacket with the clasp closures, worn by Jamaican Supermodel Oraine Barrett. That was the first item in the collection that took me to the waters. As I took my first few snapshots, my lens discovered a Navy Wool Suit dressed with a Navy Cotton Turtleneck Sweater as well as a Navy Wool Double Breasted Belted Coat with Black Collar Accents. Everything else commenced to attack my weakness for fashion.
On the other platforms, my eyes met the Camel Wool Toggle Coat, the Brown Glen Plaid Wool Suit, and the light Brown Corduroy Sportcoat. I had to walk closer to examine the design detail of these pieces. Then the Sail White Shawlneck Cardigan and the Sail White Cotton Button Down and Shorts absolutely rocked my world.
This new collection is a true testament to why Nautica has remained a pioneer in men’s fashion. The clothes forced a need to just connect with the water, one of my favorite things about nature, in style. I cannot wait to be seen in every item I mentioned.
