Over 250+ guests took to Bridgehampton for a soiree hosted by Luxury Listing NYC as they celebrated the release of The Real Deal’s Hamptons supplement. Party host, Amir Korangy, publisher of Luxury Listing NYC and The Real Deal welcomed guests. The celebration took place at the posh 14 Two Trees Lane, a new mansion being marketed by Brown Harris Stevens.

We spent a fun afternoon at New York City’s Trapeze School to celebrate the launch of Cheese Dippers from the delicious brand. Cheese Dippers are a new portable snack of Laughing Cow Cheese and breadsticks. The convenient little snack is designed to be eaten on the go, you can take them anywhere. This portable snack is an excellent source of calcium and each serving delivers 4 grams of protein.
Maxwell, Shaun Toub, Savion Glover, Paul Haggis, Jonathan Cheban, and Todd English were a few of the notables present for the official grand opening of Domenico Vacca’s flagship destination. The Italian designers new location is housed in a 10-story building off Fifth Avenue that includes men’s and women’s retail, a bespoke atelier, an Italian espresso bar & café, barber shop, beauty salon, rooftop terrace, art gallery, private members-only club, and 30 long-term stay furnished residential units designed by Vacca himself. It’s nothing but pure luxury and elegance when you step inside the building.
New York City’s Howl at the Moon is a high-energy spot, just like their other locations. Expect an interactive music experience, specialty cocktails, and lots of yummy bites. Howl’s five full-time entertainers each play five instruments in addition to belting out hit after hit in a show that doesn’t stop. The midtown Manhattan location kicked off the Spring season with an Eclipse Party.
This week marked DIFFA‘s Annual Dining by Design fundraiser. The event is DIFFA’s largest fundraisers of the year and takes place during Architectural Digest’s Annual Design show. Dining by Design brings together designers from all over the country each presenting a new and exciting tablescape for the sake of a worthy cause. Each Designer is provided an unfinished space to transform into an imaginative decadent dining experience. Each one a definitive representation of the artist’s mindset and aesthetic sense. Though most provide a fanciful and extravagant image of dining, they can all be used for inspiration in any humble abode. We encourage anyone with a passion for pretty things or philanthropy to attend this fundraiser for DIFFA.
For more than half a century Americans have been enjoying Mars’ M&M candies. In that time to confection has grown into a globally recognized brand with toys, characters, and other collector’s items. As one of the country’s most iconic treats, it will spend its 75th year celebrating with several interesting promotions. We recently spent an evening celebrating the candy at its 75th Anniversary Party in New York City. The soiree featured color themed rooms, passed appetizers, a wall of treats and a performance by Aloe Blacc and DJ Zedd.
The performance was part of the celebration year promotion as it introduced us to a hot new revamp of Sammy Davis’ classic “Candyman” The retooled dance track has new lyrics but embodies much of the same good vibes as the original. The Davis track was once used in the 1971 jingle but Aloe and Zedd give it new life 25 years later with a stylish new commercial and music video featuring the M&M’s characters we all know and love.
In addition to the song, Mars will celebrate the anniversary with the addition of a new flavor. From March 1st until June 17 candy lovers are invited to purchase and vote on their favorite new M&M flavors. This campaign features 3 new peanut M&M flavors: Honey Nut, Chilli Nut, and Coffee Nut. We’ve sampled all three and find ourselves torn between Chilli and Honey Nut. Once the ballots have been counted the new flavor will be released and available for consumption this fall.
Dum Pukht is a cooking technique developed in the Awadh region of India. Using a tightly sealed pot, vegetables and meats are prepared over low heat with a mixture of herbs and spices. Slow cooking allows the flavors to develop and mature to their highest potency. We experienced Dum Pukht via a small intimate soiree in Awadh, an upscale Indian eatery on NYC’s upper west side. Guests enjoyed specially prepared Kebobs, an array of roasted meats and Biryanis which are standard for a proper Dum Pukht feast. All dishes were crafted by accomplished restauranteur and chef Gaurav Anand.
