Women’s Health 2015 Wellness Day

by xoJohn

Women’s Health brought together health enthusiasts and philanthropists over the weekend for a day of wellness. It all started at the beautiful “Well-thy” home, where Laura Ferrer-Schmidt, Publisher of Women’s Health greeted us as we got ready for a fun-filled day. The Well-thy home is a gorgeous wooden abode, located in the heart of Montauk, NY. Several of the classes and demos took place here and were taught by top nutritionists, trainers, and chefs.

Over the weekend we packed up and headed to the Water Mill, NY for our first-ever Super Saturday NY. It’s the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s ultra-chic daylong fundraiser. Super Saturday is not your typical charity event, it for all families. There were a one-of-a-kind designer garage sale, kids’ carnival and activities, a luxury raffle and gourmet treats. The festivities were hosted by Donna Karan and Kelly Ripa and sponsored by QVC. OCRF and QVC united once again for “QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE,” alive, on-site broadcast from 2:00PM-4:00PM EST, which offered viewers nationwide the chance to purchase premier fashion, beauty, jewelry, accessories, and home items for half the suggested retail price, with net proceeds benefitting OCRF.
