For the last 25 years diners have enjoyed the fruits of Ron Teitelbaum‘s perseverance.  ON June 6th 1986 Ron opened the very first Johnny Rockets on Melrose in Los Angeles.  Since then the franchise has mushroomed to over 250 locations across the nation.  The quarter century celebration kicked off with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the franchise’s newest location NYC’s South Street Seaport.  Timed down to the milisecond the ribbon was cut at the exact moment the very first Johnny rockets opened 25 years ago on the opposite side of the country.
