Diner en Blanc Returns After a Two-Year Hiatus

by xoJohn

Le Dîner en Blanc has become a worldwide epicurean phenomenon and after a brief breaking due to that virus we won’t mention, is returning to the big apple. It’s one of our favorite experiences to attend. Le Diner en Blac is roughly attended by over 5000 guests dressed Head-To-Toe in white to experience the Culinary Event of the Year.

Over the course of the evening, the diners eat and celebrate amid live music, and dancing, complete with festive white balloons. Many spend weeks in advance planning their menus. Guests also use the venue to express their unique fashion and design style; the often elaborate and creative outfits, fantastical hats, and decorative table settings are always a fabulous spectacle.

To be part of the celebrations, people can sign up now by visiting newyork.dinerenblanc.com and clicking on the Register tab.

To maintain the uniqueness of Le Dîner en Blanc as well as stay true to tradition, guests must observe certain requirements and follow a few key rules:

In the new installation of the Ghostbusters series, a single mother and her two children move to a new town, they soon discover that they have a connection to the original Ghostbusters and their grandfather’s secret legacy. Ghostbusters: Afterlife is directed by Jason Reitman. With Finn Wolfhard, Paul Rudd, Mckenna Grace, and Carrie Coon, to name a few. Check it out in theaters on November 19, 2021.

The special advanced screening was powered by the Ghostbusters franchise and Sony Pictures for the 1st Annual KnockturnalWEEN. After the screenings, attendees, dressed in their best Halloween attire headed over to the posh Citizens New York to celebrate the special with cocktails sponsored by Tito’s Vodka and Courvoisier. It indeed was a special evening. Thanks to our friends at the knockturnal for a spooky and fun evening. Check out these photos by @kpshotit.

Now that New York is getting back to some kind of normalcy, more than 300 guests carefully gathered at the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s Hamptons Happening. One of our favorite charitable events we were happy to return to. The popular annual charity food and wine event was back in a big way and raised more than $400,000 towards cancer research. The 17th annual event was a celebration of health and wellness, and the culmination of The Global Walk to Flatten the Cancer Curve with SWCRF partner, Walk with a Doc. Committee members Maria Fishel and Kenneth Fishel hosted the magical evening at their beautiful estate in Bridgehampton.

Last night in Manhattan, Kenneth Fishel, President of Renaissance Properties, and Bradley Fishel, Vice President of Renaissance Properties, hosted an intimate brokers soiree on the massive rooftop of the recently renovated historic commercial space, 632 Broadway, also known as 166 Crosby Street. The rooftop featured a kitchen, seating, and sweeping views of lower Manhattan. The event showcased the building’s renovations for business owners looking for the ideal workspace post-covid-19 pandemic. Speaking of Covid-19, all guests temperatures were taken upon arrival and social distancing was practiced throughout the evening. Safety first!
