Madame X aka Madonna performed a selection of songs from her concert film ‘Madame X,’ as well as classics including ‘La Isla Bonita’ and ‘Like a Prayer,’ accompanied by multi-hyphenate musician Jon Batiste with his band for an intimate crowd of friends and fans at Ginny’s Supper Club in Harlem, NY, with signature cocktails by Belvedere Vodka.
The star-studded evening welcomed Madonna’s friends and fans including her daughter Lordes Leon, and close friends Steven Klein, Teezo Touchdown, Loic Mabanza, dancer Jose Xtravaganza, and guests Aquaria, Julia Fox, Dylan Burnside, Fin Argus, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Gabe Ocasio-Cortez, James Cusati-Moyer, Richie Shazam, Legendary Damon, Yves Mathieu, and MADAME X directors Ricardo Gomes and SKNX.
The midnight popup show was performed in a jazz supper club-style and included a Jon Batiste-signature “love riot” into the streets, where Madonna led the crowd in a jazz parade out onto the streets of Harlem, past the legendary Apollo Theater to a local church to sing ‘Like A Prayer’ on its steps.
Guests sipped Harlem-inspired Belvedere cocktails, including The Madame X (as selected by Madonna), as well as other cocktails from Glenmorangie Whisky and Volcán de Mi Tierra Tequila. The Madame X cocktail included Belvedere Vodka, pomegranate juice, lime juice, honey. To make, simply place all ingredients in a shaker and shake with ice. Strain into glass over fresh ice and garnish with rosemary. Always remember to drink responsibly. Cheers!
