Wagamama Comes to Murray Hill NYC

by xoJohn

UK-based Wagamama puts a fresh spin on Asian fusion cuisines and they will be bringing their talents to the NYC’s Murray Hill neighborhood very soon. Wherever they’re located, the restaurants develop a cult following, with devotees like Momofuku’s David Chang crediting Wagamama for his decision to become a chef. At the heart of wagamama’s success is its egalitarian “Bowl to Soul” philosophy: wholesome, fresh food and a welcoming environment to nourish the body as well as the soul.

Clinton Hall 36 Opens

by xoJohn

Our friends at The Lure Group have opened another Clinton Hall location in Midtown. The 7,000 square foot venue spans two floors and has a capacity for 450 guests, making it their largest location to date. I personally loved the lounge-style vibe of the new location. As you first enter, you can’t help but notice massive floor to ceiling mural by artist Tristan Eaton. There’s also the ability to play a Word Search game on one of the walls in the venue or a giant game of upright Chess. Like their other locations, Clinton Hall 36 has all of your favorite games like Oversized Uno, Giant Jenga, Connect 4 and other nostalgic classics.

One of France’s favorite street food, the humble kebab is now available in an elevated atmosphere. Kut takes the kebab off the street and into a brick and mortar dining room with modern decor and a cafeteria-like atmosphere. The concept comes from world traveler and restauranteur Henda Miliani, who seized the opportunity to bring her favorite street food to the big apple. Executive Chef Flourent De Brunelis has over fifteen years of experience in the culinary world and previously worked under former White House
