After enjoying DIFFA’s (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) Cocktails by Design, we attended the Table Hop & Taste. Guests enjoyed wine by Hob Nob Wines and sampled the most delicious culinary treats from New York’s top restaurants. Of course, we have a closer look at the gourmet food and the participating restaurants.

It’s that time of year again. DIFFA hosted it’s annual Dining By Design event at the spacious pier 94. It just get’s better and better each year. In case you have not heard about DIFFA, here is a quick overview.
DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS is one of the largest funders of HIV/AIDS service and education programs in the United States and will launch DINING BY DESIGN with 5-days of events running concurrently with the Architectural Digest Home Design Show at Pier 94, 12th Ave. at 55th Street in New York City on Thursday, March 18th through Monday, March 22nd. This year, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber will host the gala dinner in New York. DIFFA’s DINING BY DESIGN will bring together some of the most talented and celebrated individuals in the worlds of fashion, interior design, art, and architecture to create spectacular, over-the-top dining environments.
After the Cocktails by Design and Table Hop & Taste Event. DIFFA held their long awaited Gala Dinner on the closing night five day festivities. Guests donated between $500-$10,000 to enjoy an extravagant dinner at one of the designed tables. In addition to, cocktails being served to guests, dancing, desserts, and silent auctions. Some of the special guest included, Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, MTV’s The City star Olivia Palermo, Designer Tracy Reese, Stylist Robert Verdi, and Whoopi Goldberg. The Gala Dinner marked a great end to a event that supports a worthy cause. We were happy to be a part of it.
