Giant Step is known for not only presenting great shows, but also bringing to the forefront up and coming artists. Saturday April 17th Giant Step welcomed José James to the Hiro Ballroom stage. A London-based jazz vocalists, José Jame‘s smooth baritone vocals have been compared to the likes of Terry Callier, Jon Lucien and Gil-Scott Heron.
When I attended the Steppin Laser’s show in Atlantic City, I didn’t know what to expect from B.o.B. Based on what I had heard from mixtapes, I had made the assumption that it would be a typical hip hop show which includes a DJ and a hype man and possibly an irrelevant crew. But I was proven very wrong. I was so blown away by B.o.B‘s performance that I had to come back for more and attend his show a few days later at SOBs.
