Gray is the new Green indeed and the evidence is shining through the eco-friendly collection by “Up and Coming” designer Jon Gray. These amazing eco friendly fashion designs were on display for all to see and purchase at the Jon Gray Int’l Society Trunk show and Sample Sale Hosted by UNvogue. The event was sponsored by Oval Vodka supplied by Deussen Global Communications. This men’s wear brand was established in 2007 and has been going strong ever since, selling in stores such as Bergdorf’s and a soon to be flagship early 2010. Eco-compassion, creative concepts, luxury, street culture, and politics are what set Jon Gray aside from the rest. The attention to detail is immaculate, when describing a Jon gray t-shirt. With such names as Make Peace, Blind Justice, and Love Hurts,

Editorial: Adam Lambert for Rolling Stones

by xoJohn

American Idol Season 8 Runner Up Adam Lambert opens up in the next issue of Rolling Stone, speaking only about his sexuality and much more.

Here is an excerpt:

On his early attempts at songwriting, “My songs were like campy, sexy electro, like Peaches and Goldfrapp. I can look back now and realize I wasn’t very good at it. I was trying to put in way too many words. I was trying to be way too melodramatic and serious, you know? It’s like what a junior high student does with poetry. But over the course of a couple years, I started really trying to listen to what worked out there in music, like hooks — and realized that less is more. The simple idea is better in a song.”

The underground cutting edge publication “YRB Magazine” was in celebration at the M2 Lounge (formerly Mansion) for Busta Rhymes “Back on my B.S or B.O.M.B.S album released May 19th. It was a great event; not only highlighting Busta’s eighth album but unity in hip hop. Musical artist; such as Missy Elliot, Jim Jones, Soldier Boy, Rah Digga, Bad Boys Donnie Klang, and so many more came out to show their love and support for the Hip Hop Giant. The party goers also came out and were greeted with an unexpected party favor; an authentic tattoo parlor supplied by “BIG Tattoos”! Also, DJ Cassidy and Funk Master Flex kept the event rocking from beginning to end. The occasion was sponsored by Mischieve Hornitos Tequila, New Era, and Storm London watches. As a charismatic Busta Rhymes and Spliff Star took the stage the whole venue was at a standstill, until the first track was laid of course. Rhymes performed classic hits such as “Dangerous” and “Put ya hands where my eyes can see”, but brought us back to the future with “Arab Money and new single “Respect my Conglomerate”. Surprisingly, this was not just an album release event, but a Birthday Party as well for the now 37-year-old rapper. As Busta and

One of our favorite fashion brands, H&M opened a new two-story store on New Yorks Upper East Side. The store also hosted the official launch party for the Fashion Against AIDS Collection by H&M and Designers Against AIDS (DAA). Prominent editors and celebs were in attendance, including singer Estelle who designed for the new line and Kelly Bensimon. Invited guests were able to shop and enjoy a generous 25% discount on all items in the store. We surely took advantage of that offer. Belvedere vodka provided the specialty cocktails (i.e. Raspberry Mojito).
