Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings, the new adventurous and action-packed video game created by LucasArts for several game consoles, including the Wii. The game is the third in the series of original 3D Indiana Jones games. The other games included Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb and Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.
The plot centers around Indiana Jones search for the Staff of Moses. It is set in 1939 (the year World War II begins, 18 years before the events in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, and 1 year after The Last Crusade) and features a sequence set in San Francisco, involving a brawl outside a fireworks factory, a fight atop a runaway cable car, and much more action packed adventures.

Thanks to Melanie Blum and the team at Peggy Siegal for granting us access to the launch event at the Nintendo World Store earlier this week where we enjoyed endless amounts of gameplay on the various consoles and delicious food, catered by Thomas Preti Caterers, Inc. Who provided everything from french fries, chicken quesadillas, mini-burgers (our fave), to mini-cupcakes. Thomas Preti Caterers was founded by Chef Thomas Preti and his partner Michael Bonizio in 1987 and to date had become one of New Yorks premier catering services. Guests received a signature Indiana Jones hat and toy whip as they entered the 2nd floor of the store, which was a hit with the children (including us lol). One excited kid told us that his new costume made him feel like the real Indiana Jones as he played the game. We couldn’t agree more!
Celebrity guests for the evening included; Elizabeth Vargas, Jami Floyd, Michael Gelman, Adam Yauch, EJ Bonilla, Irina Pantaeva, Pat Kiernan, Alexis Glick, Bill McCuddy, Tim Minton, Norman Reedus, James Toback, Debra Winger, and 2009 TONY Award winners (Best Performance by a Leading Actor) the Billy’s from “Billy Elliot – The Musical“- David Alvarez, Trent Kowalik, and Kiril Kulish.
Great fun-filled night!
As always, we have some wonderful pictures for your viewing pleasure.
