Upstate Vodka is produced in Oneonta, NY and is made from locally sourced New York State apples. It is produced in small batches with high-quality standards. While there are apples involved in the production of the vodka, it is not apple flavored. For the ultimate taste test, we chilled the vodka and poured it into a shot glass. We would describe the taste as having a little sweetness in the beginning but smooths out, almost instantly. Even with the tiniest sip, the flavor of the vodka will still fill your mouth, minus the burning sensation you get from other vodkas.
