The Carlos Campos Spring/Summer 2020 collection uses bold colors, the same way a grammarian uses periods, to punctuate a thought. The designer takes fun and breezy attitude by adding pops of cyan, sapphire and midnight navy to his signature palette of blue, white and tan.
In the age of #MeToo, it’s empowering to see fashion that exudes an #IAm spirit. Victoria Hayes’ Spring/Summer 2020 collection does just that. From black leather hot pants to saucy midi skirts in neon yellow, fuchsia and purple, Hayes remains true to her vision to help women stand out with confidence.
Beaded embellishments and the use of midriff and thigh-high slits blend femininity with a “take no prisoners” attitude. The designer’s bejeweled garter belt and basket-ball accessories added the right mix of street style fun with red carpet and real-life looks for the woman who wants to be seen whether she’s coming or going.

With New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in full swing, the after affairs are a guarantee. Many brands hosted fab after parties to celebrate their latest collections or just toast to another successful NYFW. Here is a round-up of our favorites:
The Just Drew NYFW Kick-Off Party was the place to be for the kick off of another fashionable season. The party, which was held at Le Board, was in celebration of The Daily Front Row’s NYFW Issue 1 and their cover stars, Olivia Culpo and Dove Cameron. Michael Costello’s “Gitana” – Spring/Summer 2019 collection is dramatic with pieces that steal the show whether you’re on the red carpet or Ibiza. Inspired by gypsy culture, the designer pays homage to bohemia independence and women who seek their own path.
Designer Nicholas Kunz has opened his brand new store in lower Manhattan. The store has beautiful decor, showcasing the drapey, modern staples they’re known for. The store also has whitewashed floors and towering plants with white parachutes cascading from the ceiling.

To celebrate, he held an exclusive party featuring the Holy Mountain Pero Fall/Winter 2018 Collection. The collection includes soft alpaca sweaters, tencel knits, vegetable-dyed jackets trimmed with shearlings, sandwashed flowy silk dresses and tops, black denim, and classic poplin shirting and dresses with corset detailing. Prices range from $280 for the wrap crop shirt in cotton flannel to $1600 for a vegetable dyed leather tanner jacket in burnt sienna with shearling collar and cuffs.
The Grungy Gentleman show celebrated New York City, and the fusion of contemporary culture and style, in sports, music, and entertainment, with Bronx-native hip-hop icon Jim Jones from Dipset opening the show, followed by Michael Beasley (NY Knicks), Tye Smith (Tennessee Titans) and Isaiah Pead, former NFL player who lost his leg in a car accident in 2016, who closed the show as guests cheered him on down the runway.
Carlos Campos debuted his Spring/Summer 2019 collection as part of the CFDA’s New York Fashion Week: Men’s on Monday, July 9 at Industria Studios. The 25 look menswear collection is a return the brand’s early heritage of a clean, architectural silhouette, crisp tailoring in a bold color palette.
