Michael Costello’s “Gitana” – Spring/Summer 2019 collection is dramatic with pieces that steal the show whether you’re on the red carpet or Ibiza. Inspired by gypsy culture, the designer pays homage to bohemia independence and women who seek their own path.
This collection is bold, beautiful and in keeping with Costello’s ability to blend racy and tasteful. Dress with plunging necklines and hip-high slits in gold and neon orange. Flowing floor length sleeves and hemlines with yards flounce pumped up the wow factor. The designer didn’t forget men and showed barely- there speedos and jumpsuits with hoodies.
Costello cut his fashion chops on the 8th season of Project Runway in 2010 and vaulted to fame by dressing Beyoncé for the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.
The narrative behind “Gitana” is about breaking free from other’s rules and expectations. Costello’s Spring/Summer 2019 collection helps women to do just that.
