How exciting is this!!! As speculated, H&M has announced that its next designer collaboration will be with Lanvin, one of the most influential brands of the 21st century. Designed by Lanvin’s artistic director Alber Elbaz, and menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver, the collection will go on sale on November 23 in around 200 H&M stores worldwide.

Runway | Brian Wood Spring/Summer 2010

Artist/Designer Brian Wood presented his summer/spring 2010 collection this week, which he titled “Our Ransom is Love”. The collection featured water repellent outerwear, striped blazers, camouflage cargo shorts, and Woods’ signature 100% cotton tees. I enjoyed his fun yet masculine use of colors; jade, stone, silver, slate and ‘safety orange’. His vision seemed well thought out and perfectly conveyed. More images below.

Nautica, founded in 1983, took its name from the Latin word “Nauticus” for ship. So what better place to hold an exclusive preview of their Fall 2009 Menswear Collection, than the Intrepid Museum. The museum made for a nice backdrop to the collection featuring thirty looks. The ensembles featured classic naval outerwear, cotton peacoats in navy and charcoal wool, double-faced rain jackets, orange coast guard parka, 3/4 length Captain’s coat, a nylon puffer jacket with faux fur trim collar, and cotton/wool pants.

During the presentation, a short film played on the huge screen (pictured above) showing planes landing and taking off on the Essex class carrier. Tons of pictures when you read the rest.
