Every year, The Hamptons Happening is among the most eagerly awaited events of the Hamptons Summer season. The benefit is a scrumptious celebration of New York’s finest cuisine, personally presented by 20 of the top chefs of the most celebrated restaurants in New York City and the Hamptons. Guests indulged their appetites for the savory and the sweet, mixed and mingled, bid on exciting live and silent auction items and danced to world-renowned bluegrass band Sheriff and The Deputy all the while collaborating to fund the quest for a cure for cancer.

If you follow us on snapchat (xojohnxo) or twitter (@IamJohnSimon) then you would see we were at this morning’s special press event for the partnership between Carnival Cruises and GIFFT Wines. Kathie Lee Gifford boarded Carnival Splendor to officially launch her GIFFT wine Pinot Noir Rosé. The new blend joins the GIFFT Red Blend and Chardonnay that were introduced fleetwide aboard Carnival’s ships earlier this year. Pinot Noir Rosé is delicious and pairs nicely with strip steak or a hearty salad. The limited-edition Pinot Noir Rosé is 100 percent estate-grown and features ripe strawberry, raspberry, and red apple aromas to exhibit bright fruit flavors framed by crisp, juicy acidity.
