Last night, Wilhelmina Models announced the winner of its three month long 30+ Model Search — Chia Jenious-Nevamong, who hails from Pennsylvania and is 35, was unveiled as the grand prize winner and the new face of women thirty and over. Supermodel and style expert Roshumba Williams hosted the glamorous the event with fellow judge Adam Glassman, O, The Oprah Magazine’s Creative Director, and Wilhelmina’s Vice President of the Women’s Division, Stacey Fuller.
Earlier that day, the ten finalists from across the country participated in a photoshoot, and after a rigorous judges panel, walked in a live fashion show amongst fashion and industry elite as their final challenge.
Chia was chosen from over 7,000 entrants in the competition and took home a Wilhelmina Modeling contract, a $1000 shopping spree to Macy’s, a $1000 Miraclesuit swim wardrobe, and a fashion feature spread in O, The Oprah Magazine. Michelle Torres (Age 53) of Atlanta was the 1st runner-up, and Sara Mae Kroeker (Age 30) was the 2nd runner-up.
