We
Sommore showed up and showed out with her comedic skills. She also dished on her experience on the road with the Verizon Wireless Now Playing Tour. She’s says, “The best part about being on the road is seeing the world and taking the towels from the hotels.” She also offered up advice for fans looking to break into the entertainment business, “Find your own unique way of expressing yourself. For women to stay successful in a male dominating industry, the woman should be able to work harder than a man”.
DeJ Loaf, the latest new beauty who is often compared to Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim, performed her latest slew of hits. The Detroit native sure does know how to rock the crowd.
The show wrapped with Wale’s performing a set-list he created on the spot. While performing he dropped some knowledge about the business saying, “there is a misconception of thinking you are going to make it when you meet a celebrity. It’s all about the executive behind the artist”.
Concert-goers were also encouraged to take action against domestic violence by donating old phones and accessories on-site to HopeLine® from Verizon. HopeLine is a program that supports domestic violence organizations across the country and has set a goal to reach 1 million phone donations by the end of the year. These organizations work for the sake of people’s awareness about the issue, how to fight a domestic violence charge if you are the unlike victim from the opposite side, etc.
