Happy Anniversary Vago! The restaurant, owned by Victoria Guan and Tony Rustja, celebrates one year of serving up delicious eats and tasty cocktails on the Midtown East side of Manhattan. Vago, which means beauty in old Latin, is known for their Mediterranean inspired menu. To celebrate such an occasion, Vago hosted an intimate gathering where guests got a sampling of Meatballs, Crab Cakes, Oysters Rockefeller, and Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp. The star of the night was the giant cheese wheel served as the base for a deliciously creamy truffle risotto. We washed down the delectable eats with their signature it all down Tiramisu Martinis. The rest of the menu is divided into classic meat, seafood, and pasta entrees. We shall be back soon for a full review.
Vago is open for brunch, lunch, and dinner daily. Vago is located at Midtown East (509 Third Avenue).
