Sharing is caring, right? Because I care about my readers, I wanted to share a few of my favorite hacks to maximize your small kitchen spaces.
- If you’re closet deprived and love shoes like myself, then you’re probably running out of places to put your favorite pairs of boots or heels. The oven is a great area to house several shoes and hide the clutter.
- A simple solution to getting rid of those pesky cords is to organize them with labels so they correspond to the appropriate appliances or gadgets. I have a ton of appliances with detachable cords and find it hard to keep up with them. You can tie them with bread twist ties and place them neatly in toilet paper cardboard rolls. Yes it works! These gems can be stored just about anywhere in your kitchen and save you from the clutter. I prefer to place them in stackable boxes. This also works well with socks.
- Another way to hide little trinkets around the house is to store them in old cans. Displaying them can be easy. I hit up my local hardware store for a magnetic strip to hang above my stove. With the magnetic strip I’m able to attach a few newly cleaned cans, which I use to hold my house keys, jewelry, and other small items. You can get creative with it and decorate the cans to match your kitchen decor.
We would love to see how you make the best of your tiny kitchen space!
