Although it may just seem like an ordinary hotel standing in Soho, The Arlo Hotel has a hidden gem waiting for you to discover it. As you enter the popular venue you may be surprised to discover that inside lies a wonderful speakeasy full of intrigue and Nostalgia.
Foxtail Speakeasy is the name, as I approached the entrance I was pleasantly greeted by a lovely host who welcomed me into the space. The Menu featured various cocktails all reminiscent of the 1950s and 1960s era. The tasty cocktails were both tasty and well crafted by the lovely bartenders who make you feel at home.
The food also was plentiful ranging from pizza to seafood to pasta. There is a quality variety of items to order and they are all very tasty. I myself really enjoyed the pizza.

The evening was only getting started and there was much more excitement to be felt. As I drank my “Foxtail”, one of the most popular drinks offered, I really enjoyed the delivery. The drink is delivered to you in a Teacup giving you a prohibition-era feel. Along with the drink you are also given a small vial filled with the drink leaving you with an extra shot of deliciousness with your beverage.
As the evening turned to night guests were invited behind a curtain to a room set up for a show. We took our seats and shortly after the show began. We were delighted by the lovely sounds of a live band as our host approached the stage and took over.
Little did we know the lovely music was just the start of Cheeky tease! An interactive and exciting Burlesque show. As the host welcomed the first dancer to the stage, the energy was ecstatic and guests were excited, yelling, shouting, whistling, the energy was high. The show proceeded to alternate between several dancers and culminated with the host herself dancing and even singing.
The dancers engaged with the audience as they elegantly strolled through the crowd and invoked happiness and thrill to all who bore witness.
From scrumptious snacks to crafty cocktails to exciting entertainment, Foxtail had it all. A great atmosphere and place for you to go with a date or a group of friends. It will surely be a night full of memories.
