My first experience with Toni Francesc was just a few short months ago in September. The inaugural season for fashion week’s new locale, Lincoln Center, was the perfect setting to discover this fashion week rookie. Enthralled by his use of wood elements in his previous season I was excited to see his vision for fall. Francesc fall collection was all about cinched waists and satin finishes. Held in the studio at the tents the show was awash in colors and shine. Models strut down the runway in drapey satin tops with tactile wools. Each piece presented held with it a sense of easy sophistication, simply elegant silhouettes in luxurious fabrics.
One of our favorite looks was this flutter sleeved dress with satin bodice. The Golden color is an excellent choice as Fall tends to feature the darker more drab ends of the spectrum. The bright gold is a great departure from basic black and grey.
We also loved this copper shift with ruching and cinched waist. A great piece for any wardrobe it can be dressed up or down at will, making it a spirited choice for day to evening wear.

One thing you can’t escape this fall season is basic black. Francesc keeps it fresh and flattering with this cropped sleeve belted jacket and pant combo. The voluminous sleeves and cinched waist give it a sophisticated silhouette.
Though a newcomer by New York Fashion Week standards Toni brings his best to every season, making him a designer to watch. This son of a dressmaker and his unique sensibility will be around for years to come.
