For three days during New York Fashion Week, Red Bull in conjunction with Rock The Vote and Soul by Ludacris partnered with Gerber Group’s Stone Rose Lounge for Thrashin Week. Thrashin Week paired up the world fashion with skateboarding and live music.
A 30 foot ramp was set up in on one end of the Lounge where athletes including Billy Rohan, Nolan Lee, Quim Cardona, Luis Tolentino, Danny Falla, Taji Ameen, Leo Gutman, Willy Akers, Dave Willis, Curtis Rapp, Ron Deily, and Kevin Tierney demonstrated their skills to the sounds of Motion City Soundtrack, Mick Boogie, Ninjasonik, Penguin Prison, Xaphoon Jones, London Souls, Jeffrey Tonnesen and Terry Urban. Guests sipped from a cocktails such as Gimlet Grind, McTwist Ed Martini and my favorite Spicy Stiletto.
