New York City is somewhat back to normal after the pandemic shut the city down. The hustle and bustle of the busy city are seeing some normalcy again with the opening of various attractions, including the largest Star Wars exhibition, called The Fans Strike Back.
I recently stopped by a VIP preview of this exciting exhibition. I will willingly admit, I’m not the biggest Star Wars fan but what I discovered is that you don’t have to be in order to enjoy this experience. Though some general knowledge of the franchise would be helpful.
The official public opening of The Fans Strike Back Exhibition is on Thursday, March 24. The Exhibition has taken over the former Urban Outfitters space at 526 6th Avenue, New York, NY. Guests can expect to see over 600 unique Star Wars collectible items including life-size figures, models, 50 one-of-a-kind sculptures, figurines, photos, posters, costumes, and more. I was amused at the number of artifacts that were on display. You will definitely need an hour just to admire each piece. The Fans Strike Back combines over 40 years of passionate work in order to transport guests into the iconic Star Wars universe, and give aficionados an up-close and personal look into the galaxy far, far away. Be sure to check out the Virtual Reality experience before you leave!
As I mentioned, the exhibition is open now through June 2022. Tickets are selling fast, as I exited the VIP preview, fans were already lined up and eager to get inside. There are two options for tickets:
