TAYLRD is a leading men’s e-commerce fashion brand that focuses on well-made, comfortable, transitional clothing. The collection is meant to easily transition from your 9-to-5 corporate job to the sunny beach. The TAYLRD team consist of industry veterans from brands like Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein who specialize in the right fit that will have men shopping with confidence.
TAYLRD is taking things to a whole new level, something we’ve never seen before, they’ve just introduced an immersive mobile store coming in the form of a 28-foot Streamline Express trailer. TAYLRD purchased the trailer and used a crane to lift it off an eight-story roof in Brooklyn after it was placed there 30 years ago. It underwent a six-month renovation by KUT LTD in Hudson Valley, which was founded by Michael Sarandon and Adam Solomon, who specialize in Airstream and camper design. This is an exceptional way for consumers to actually see and feel the clothing before making a purchase. I must admit, I was a bit skeptical of the sizing before I visited the streamline express trailer in Brooklyn. Let’s face it, sizing can be a huge issue when shopping online and no one wants to go through the hassle of having to return clothes.
As I mentioned, I was lucky enough to catch the trailer at Freehold, a very popular hotspot in Brooklyn. The clothing is definitely trendy, clean, and sophisticated. The patterns and color palettes do in fact work for the office or beach. As I shopped around the well-decorated trailer, I was a bit skeptic on the sizing. The TAYLRD team ensured me that the size was indeed true-to-size. Without any hesitation (and without trying them on), I picked the Light Blue Stretch Chino Pant in the size I normally wear. In a little under a week, the Chinos arrived which I was eager to try on. To my surprise, they were super comfortable and fit perfectly. The best part is the stretch, as a person who is always on the go, comfort, and mobility is very important. I can’t wait to rock them at the next rooftop party or the Hamptons as the temperature rises in New York City.
TAYLRD price points are fairly reasonable, falling around $75 and under. TAYLRD is not only able to provide the perfect fit and high-quality fabric but excellent customer experience. If the sizing is off for you, they offer free return shipping, which makes me want to shop without any hesitation. The 28-foot Streamline Express trailer has been making its way through Brooklyn, Austin, and Santa Monica.
