With the up coming transition from summer to fall, plenty of exciting things will take place. A new school year will began or perhaps you’ll find your self with the perfect job. How could we ever forget that some of our favorite shows will end and others will begin, but most importantly the fashion world will come alive. It seems as if this fall will be the most interesting of all. First there was a giant buzz surrounding Jimmy Choo‘s love affair with H&M. While the memento of the aforementioned love affair continues a buzz, Target has started one as well. It seems that Target is taking advantage of the memento as well with both it’s Go International line and the Designer Collaboration series rolling out with a BIG BANG. In June the chain enlisted designer Anna Sui for their Designer Collaboration series. Sui is the second designer to participate (who can forget the quick selling of the Alexander McQueen line). The line is rumored to be inspired by the hit CW TV show “Gossip Girl” and will feature all of the elements that made you fall in love with Sui (Think boho+rocker). In addition to Sui, Target has forged a deal with the dynamic sister duo behind the Rodarte brand to be the next designers of Go! International. The Mulleavy sisters-who recently won the highly prestigious Womenswear Designer of the Year Award at the CFDA Awards– have created a 55 piece collection which will feature holiday dresses and separates. Sui’s line will hit online and stores nationwide on September 13, while the Rodarte line will launch on December 20 (so you can get your last minute shopping done) and run until February 6, 2010.
