The VH1 Save The Music Foundation Family Day Recap

by xoJohn

Last weekend, VH1 and Parenting Magazine presented the VH1 Save The Music Foundation’s Family Day – a free, family fun day that was open to the public – at The Anderson School in New York.. The daylong festival saw over 1,400 guests and featured live performances from TBNB and Out of Ideas, both a part of the “Come Join The Band!” music school. An exciting live deejay set was performed by nine-year-old sensation DJ Fulano. A protégé of DJ Cassidy, DJ Fulano is not only deejaying around the country, but also recording a rap album and modeling for major publications and clothing brands. Congressman Jerrold Nadler was also in attendance, showing his support for the interactive music expo that gave children of all ages a stage to express their love of music, culture and creativity.
