Restaurant Review: Benny John’s Bar and Grill
When a foodie thinks of New York City, images of crisp pizza slices and infamous deli favorites usually come to mind. However, as institutions go the steakhouse is native to New York and as popular as pepperoni or pastrami on rye. Our city is home to some of the country’s oldest steakhouses, some of which still operate in their original locations. Best Dish: The Veal Chops were excellent. The outside has a crisp sear and the inside was juicy and tender.

Overall: A Kosher steakhouse with retro charm. An ideal choice for a quick pre-show bite in the heart of Broadway.

Best Dish: The crab cake was delicious, but the steak was the star. The Tomahawk was incredible. It was tender and succulent.

Overall: Uptown meets downtown in this elegant eatery. Greenwich Steakhouse is the upscale experience the West Village has been waiting for.
If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience, check out Primal Cut’s Wine & Dine event on Thursday, October 18th. Primal Cut is a modern steakhouse on The Upper East. Best Dish: We love their steak it is always tender juicy and well prepared. The bacon is an extremely close second.

Overall: A carnivore haven with a decadent assortment of meats in a sophisticated atmosphere.

Best Dish: The Salmon was excellent, the combination of fish and veggies was well thought out. The Cricket Pizza was also amazing, we could eat that jalapeño pesto on anything.

Overall: A whimsical destination for Instagram worthy dishes in an artistic atmosphere.
As you may or may not know, David Burke is an acclaimed American Chef with decades of experience. His latest endeavor, Woodpecker, is an experiment of sorts abandoning gas stovetops for the classic wood burning stove.

Best Dish: The short rib was divine. Melt in your mouth tender and savory.

Overall: Despite the extravagant decor this steakhouse is a laid back hospitable space for any occasion.
