Ted Baker really knows how to throw a party to show off their Spring/Summer 2014 Collection.
Jack Spade has just released Now and Then, a short film by New York native Mikey De Temple. The surfer not only directed the short but stars in the unique piece. Mikey’s surfing has been described as classic yet rebellious, stylish but aggressive, competitive though utterly soulful.
After several days of brittle sub zero temperatures and freezing precipitation the 40 degree weather we had today felt like Spring. Though true Spring is still over a month away there’s no time like the present to start dreaming of a more fab color selection and the lighter fabrics of the upcoming season. Our friends at ASOS gave us the chance to drool over the new looks soon to grace their site and hopefully our bodies in a few weeks time. The Men’s collection is divided into 5 distinct sections with a wide assortment of looks to mix and match for the ultimate warmer weather wardrobe.
Original Penguin took their talents to Malibu, California for SS14 Ad Campaign. Because much of the collection emulated the deep pigments of the Pacific and was inspired by the plush greenery that stand tall along the coast, it was the perfect back drop to provide the textural background for this campaign.
What could be better than visiting the Levi’s showroom and viewing the latest collection? How about spending an evening surrounded by beautiful models styled from head to toe in next years Spring/Summer collection. We spent a few magnificent hours in meat packing district’s illustrious Milk Studios fanning over the hot new looks.
The fabulously fierce fashion design duo The Blonds, Phillipe and David Blond, believe “that every woman should be glamorous every day.” There latest runway show for MILK MADE S/S 2014 takes women’s fashion to the final frontier -Space. Phillip Blond opens the show in a silver crystal encrusted moon man suit complete with helmet and glam flag then quickly tears away the suit to reveal a golden crystal bodysuit with blonde tresses to match. This opening is the perfect blast-off for an out of this world S/S 2014 collection.
Zang Toi presented a stunningly beautiful Ballet inspired collection for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.The runway show opened with a performance by American Ballet Theater’s Cory Stearns. Mr. Stearns is also designer Zang Toi’s primary muse for the collection.
In sports, there is often a disconnect between player and fan. The player receives all of the glory while the fan merely sheds this glory. The player has the fabulous lifestyle that the fan, essentially, pays for. Carlos Campos attempts to merge these separate entities within his S/S 2014 collection. Inspired by the fundamental relationship between soccer player and soccer fan, their mutual love of the game, Campos designed a collection fitting for all men.
