This week marked DIFFA‘s Annual Dining by Design fundraiser. The event is DIFFA’s largest fundraisers of the year and takes place during Architectural Digest’s Annual Design show. Dining by Design brings together designers from all over the country each presenting a new and exciting tablescape for the sake of a worthy cause. Each Designer is provided an unfinished space to transform into an imaginative decadent dining experience. Each one a definitive representation of the artist’s mindset and aesthetic sense. Though most provide a fanciful and extravagant image of dining, they can all be used for inspiration in any humble abode. We encourage anyone with a passion for pretty things or philanthropy to attend this fundraiser for DIFFA.

Introducing Keurig KOLD

by xoJohn

The Keurig KOLD system is finally here and it’s what we all have been waiting for. Keurig KOLD is the first beverage system that allows consumers to freshly make cold sparkling and still beverages at home at the push of a button, including beloved favorites from The Coca-Cola Company and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. For the first time, consumers will be able to actually make a Coca-Cola or a Dr. Pepper on their kitchen counter.  The Keurig KOLD system encourages choice and discovery, including new and exciting exclusive beverage brands from categories including craft and fountain-style sodas, zero- and low-calorie flavored seltzers and waters, sports hydration drinks, iced teas and – coming soon – cocktail mixers. We are looking forward to that!

The CBS Television Studios Summer Press Day took place on Monday at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. The day consisted of four panels that highlighted a few of shows that will be part of the 2015 CBS summer line-up.

The first panel of the day was for “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” James Corden (Host), Ben Winston (Executive Producer), and Rob Crabbe (Executive Producer) fielded questions from the media and spoke about the recent success of the show that just wrapped its 30th episode. When asked if David Letterman had an influence on him, James responded by sharing that he first became familiar with the Late Show with David Letterman after moving to New York City. He was extremely homesick and the show helped provide him with some late night companionship. James said this of Letterman “I think I found a connection with him in the way that so many others have. And in a much deeper sense, over the last 30 years, it suddenly became clear to me the power that late night hosts have. It’s like you’re checking in with a friend.”
