Rebecca Minkoff recently held a preview of her fall 2010 handbag collection at the showroom located in the heart of Chelsea. We brought along our friends from The Fashion Reporter who put together this video about the collection. Enjoy!
We were one of many bloggers invited to Rebecca Minkoff‘s blogger event held at Henri Bendel in NYC. The event featured champagne, cupcakes, a nice gift bag, and a tiny lounge equipped with laptops, wifi, and a card reader for live blogging & tweeting.
Rebecca Minkoff Presentation for her Fall 2010 was definitely something that all women and retailers should be looking at for next Fall’s wardrobe. The collection has 15 looks this season and with each pieces comes sophistication.

Incredibly talented designer Rebecca Minkoff has yet again made an amazing contribution to wickedly fashionable woman everywhere. Hosted by Rebecca Minkoff at the Metropolitan Pavilion, Minkoff presented her Spring 2010 collection. The theme of the line was referenced by the designer herself as “Pretty Tough”. In a short but sweet interview, Minkoff stated she acquired her inspiration from an infamous Lindberg photograph circa 1987.
Lindsay Lohan, Jessica Alba, Miley Cyrus, Nicole Richie, Jessica Simpson can see wearing Rebecca Minkoff latest handbag creations. With such a huge following, we were excited to have been invited to the special preview of Rebecca Minkoff’s Pre-Fall and Fall 2009 collections, which will be available between June and August.
The San Diego, California native began sewing at the tender age of 8 and designing clothes by the time she turned 18. Minkoff has turned her love of design into a well-established line that is currently carried in over 200 boutiques across the USA as well as France, Canada, Japan. Which such success under her belt, Rebecca could not have been more down to earth when we briefly spoke with her during the preview.
JSD: When did you start sewing?
Rebecca Minkoff: I started sewing when I was eight and I made my Bar Mitzvah dress when I was thirteen. So I have been sewing and drawing since I was eight.
