Philippe Celebrates 10 Years

by xoJohn

One of our favorite New York City restaurants, Philippe celebrated its 10th Anniversary with an ultra-exclusive party. In case you didn’t know, Philippe has cemented its reputation as an A-List celebrity hotspot since opening 10 years ago with notable guests over the years including Oprah Winfrey, Rhianna, Beyonce, Adam Sandler, Derrick Rose, Drew Barrymore, Kylie Jenner, Kobe Bryant, Nathan Lane, Queen Latifah, Charlie Rose Rick Ross and Sir Paul McCartney. The magical evening was hosted by Philippe Chow (Executive Chef), Steve Boxer (COO); Edis Julevic (General Manager), Kostas Paterakis (Pastry Chef & Captain) on Tuesday night. The restaurant hosted a room full of New York’s movers and shakers, including, Ramona Singer, Abraham Merchant (Co-Owner, Philippe), Richard Cohn (Co-Owner, Philippe), Zach Erdem (Owner, 75 Main), and Eric Coleman (Analyst, SNY TV), to name a few.

Location: 33 East 60th Street

Cuisine: Chinese (Beijing Style)

Best Dish: The ribs are by far some of the best we’ve had thus far.

Overall: Despite its glamorous fans and dress code, Philippe Chow is a comfortable casual dining experience. Though the potential celebrity sightings are a fun and voyeuristic reason to visit the food and exemplary service is what will keep you coming back.
