On a rainy evening in the last lingering days of February we were invited to L’Oreal’s fab Soho Beauty Academy for a product launch and cocktail party. The party was for Mizani, a major brand in African-American Haircare. Their line which is found mostly in high-end salons feature items to protect, nourish and repair hair. Their latest endeavor takes their initial mission a little further by dividing hair care into product groups divided by texture to achieve a personalized approach to hair care. The latest product line focuses on “Natural” or unprocessed hair. These products allow the consumer to impart shine, luster and define curls and waves while adding nourishment from root to tip.
