CAT launched its Men’s Autumn/Winter 2012 collection this week at their showroom in New York City. As stated in their current look book “for nearly two decades, CAT footwear has been designing and engineering quality footwear that lives up to the hard-working reputation of the CAT brand.” With that said I went into the event expecting tan work boots and was shown the complete opposite as soon as I walked in the door.

On March 21 The Dockers showroom on Broadway in NYC opened its doors to trend watching bloggers and media elite to preview their line for Fall/winter 2012. DJ Orazio Rispo provided the soundtrack to the cocktail reception while tailor, Cesar Galindo, was on-hand to monogram and initial khaki’s for each of the preview’s attendee’s.
Kevork Kiledjian created a great three minute art film documentary short of his Autumn/Winter 2012 Show at MADE Fashion Week with amazing young filmmaker Aram Bedrossian.
The new short is part backstage documentary and part art film poking fun of the fact that many people cannot say Kevork’s name as well capturing the energy leading into the runway show at Milk Studios. The music is the A/W 12 show soundtrack designed by composer Adam Crystal. In the video, along with Kevork you’ll see the amazing team that collaborated on the show including stylist Charles Varenne, make up artist James Kaliardos, hair stylist Kevin Ryan, casting director Kannon Rajah, shoes by Jean-Michel Cazabat, furs by Kopenhagen Furs and many of the models that walked in the show.
Parkchoonmoo showed her Autumn/Winter 2012 collection inspired by Yeo Baek, a Korean Zen Art that refers to unfinished and undifferentiated space in design.
British designer Misha Nonoo’s Fall 2012 Collection debuted at The Standard Hotel during New York Fashion Week.
