A man’s closet needs a few things: an everyday sweater, a pair of comfortable sneakers, and a well-tailored suit. Frank & Oak acknowledges that basics such as these are essential for menswear. Frank & Oak presented their s/s 2014 collection at New York Fashion Week for the first time in its young existence.
Fall 2013
Generic Surplus Fall 2013 Collection
As a brand Generic Surplus provides menswear with basic but stylish footwear. We caught a glimpse of the latest line a few short weeks ago via a fantastic cocktail party at NYC’S Blind Barber. The Blind Barber is a jewel in the east village. It is a fun speakeasy whose entryway resembles an old-fashioned barbershop. Its old-school charm made it the perfect venue for the line of fashionable basics. Guests enjoyed bite-sized snacks and premium Ketel one cocktails while reviewing the collection.
With the heat index reaching triple digits it was an awesome experience to think of cool fall weather. Ugg is a brand synonymous with warm boots and weatherproof footwear held its Fall preview last week. The latest collection was inspired by the excitement of New Orleans. A live jazz band provided the soundtrack for the fab collection of earthy tones mixed with jazzy pops of color. In addition to the new styles offered Ugg also presented a revamped version of the infamous moon boot in “Duck Dynasty” approved camo print. The camouflage print was found in other items in the collection including these chic fur-lined moccasins.
