DIFFA: Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS 17th annual DINING BY DESIGN tour (one of our favorites to attend), which is running concurrently with the Architectural Digest Home Design Show, featured their annual COCKTAILS BY DESIGN  at Pier 94 in New York City. In case you didn’t know, DIFFA is one of the largest funders of HIV/AIDS service and education programs in the United States. Since being founded in 1984, DIFFA has mobilized the immense resources of the design communities to provide over $40 million to hundreds of AIDS service organizations nationwide. For 30 years, DIFFA has been one of the country’s largest supporters of both direct care for people living with AIDS and preventative education for those at risk.

Glamazon Summer Social Soiree 2011

by xoJohn

Glamazon’s united at the Summer Social Soiree recently to get informed about some of the hottest products out on the market. After sipping on Oriel Wine and mingle with our fellow bloggers at Alma Salon, we sat and watched as Makeda-Saggau-Sackey flawlessly presented Glamazon Diaries picks for the summer.

Lucky Brand Sunnies

It’s all about style and appeal with the Lucky Brand sunglasses. The straight cut brow bar and clean edges on this pair of sunglasses is what makes them stand out, while the UV coated lenses are there to ensure all of the sun protection you need. Includes a protective case for storage. I enjoy my new aviator style sunnies (not pictured). They are light on the face but keep me looking stylish.

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare

The Glow Lotion is for medium skin tones and nourishes dry skin while providing a gradual, even and natural-looking glow without exposure to the sun’s damaging rays. Skin-protecting antioxidants are combined with 7 skin conditioning moisturizers, leaving skin supple and soft. My skin definitely had a glow after using the face peel. I have a little stashed away for fashion week. 🙂
