In keeping with the evenings theme of re vamping, the event was held at Houston Hall, a former auto body shop that has been transformed into a hot new venue. Guests enjoyed complimentary cocktails and snacks as well as a sneak peak of the redesigned website. Vanessa Hudgens, Fern Mallis and DJ QuestLove were among the guests celebrating the re-launch.
The new website will provide users with enhanced shopping and viewing experience. Along with a better e-commerce section, the site will also provide each of the brands under the Varvatos umbrella a distinct digital presence. The new images and functionality have also been engineered for easier viewing on tablets as well as mobile devices. The site will also feature a “Personal Shopper” function which will allow users to meet with designated personal shoppers one on one, via face time and through email consultations. The consultants will then email a personalized wardrobe based on the client’s lifestyle and tastes. In addition to the new functions and ease of use, the site will also feature an editorial component called “Style and Substance”, which will feature admirable men of style and integrity.
