Dawn Richard of music group Dirty Money is no stranger to wowing us on the red carpet. Last night, the songstress walked the red carpet at 6th Annual African American Literary Awards in which she was a presenter in support of her DANITY KANE COMICS. Richard wore a Deola Sagoe dress and paired it with knee high Gucci boots from their fall 2010 collection. Simply fabulous.

I’ve always been a fan of Dawn’s style. She’s rapidly becoming one to look to for her style. It sets her apart from others in the industry, who often look like cookie-cutter replica’s of each other. Her style (thanks to her stylist, Ugo Mozie) is surprisingly refreshing. She get’s a 10 from me!

We all have heard about Dawn being like so and so, but the best thing about fashion also is starting a trend and with this outfit Dawn is starting a trend and soon will follow:watch. What I like about Dawn fashion is: she not scared to do something different, you have artist these days who have had the same fashion taste since they came out. So shout out maybe other people will finally show the African American designers some shout out to Dawn for not being scared to change
. And if I didn’t say: Dawn looks fab from head to toe.
