Lands’ End is a one stop shop of family friendly items. From parents to children and even the family pet, Lands’ End is the place to find quality garments that fit and last season after season. We attended the Spring 2013 preview held at a raw space in the Metropolitan Pavilion The bright white room was filled from wall to wall with bright colorful pieces in a wide assortment of sizes and styles. One of the things to note about Land’s End is that they pride themselves on creating top to bottom looks for everyone. To finish each ensemble the stylists at Land’s end included matching accessories from the line. Ties , belts and scarves dressed up many of the looks adding a pop of color and texture. We adored these paisley scarves and polka dot band fedoras from the children’s department.
The children weren’t the one’s treated to great color this green blazer is a phenomenal layering piece. The fresh green looks clean and crisp against the striped collared tee and immaculate white pants. The contrasting blue trim on the lapels match the stripes and bag perfectly.
A blazer and slacks is a very grown up look and can be translated to children for special occasions. Land’s End provides parents with fashionable options for life’s dressier moments. Though this suave suit and pretty dress are not everyday items they are made well and ensure they will last beyond the first wearing. The colorfast materials and quality fabric are washable and able to withstand rambunctious antics.
Dressing children is easy compared to finding decent color that men will actually wear. It is not always easy to get men to wear color, but what sharp dressed man could resist this cardigan? The dark blue tones down the citrus tones on this sweater. Some men are resistant to bright colors but presenting just a bit of color as in this cardigan, paired with a simple pair of jeans and a collared shirt is an easy way to add a pop of color to his wardrobe.
Along with mix and match separates dresses really stood out in the Spring lineup. Prints were major players in this collection and we loved them shown with solid waist cinching belts and matching cardigans.
you can also find swimwear at Land’s End. Their swim pieces are not only fashionable they are engineered to camouflage common flaws and flatter the figure. Many of the swim suits are made up of mix and match prints and solids that easily go from diving board to dinner table.
