If you have a penchant for a well-tailored suit, then the latest Simon Spurr collection will indulge you. Up and coming British designer has all eyes on his work, including Anna Wintour, herself, as spotted attending his show, held at Exit Art — offsite from Lincoln Center. Inspired by the English tradition of a well tailored 3-piece suit, the collection was filled by impeccable pieces in warm and neutral hues and a few plaid patterns, but not enough to overpower the simplicity of the line.In addition, Spurr showed some sporty pieces in the collection which includes, denim, motorcycle jackets, and casual trousers. There were also quick bursts of pink and purple nestled within the khakis and greys alleviating any potential dryness of a color palette. One cannot overlook the high quality tailoring and material usage by Spurr. The Spurr man is one who wears his classics well, yet still enjoy the comfort of the weekends.
