Sergio Davila’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection was inspired by historical, dark and foggy old South American cities. In order to capture the full essence of his collection and what he was trying to convey he moved to the historical center of Lima, Peru for 8 months to complete his collection. Aside from Lima’s presence, Sergio gained inspiration from eclectic art and the concept artist Alvaro Feliu who he met during one of his nights out in Peru. The collection included an array of wool, lambskin and leather with knitted pieces and patterned leggings. His palette was comprised of black, white, chocolate brown, grey and cranberry red. Some of his stand out pieces was the brown baby Alpaca wool coat and the one shoulder wool cocktail dress.
