Meet Tatyana Fazlalizadeh.
In order to paint the picture of Nola as an artist, Spike utilized the talents of New York artist Tatyana Fazlalizadeh to both advise and create the works of art that were displayed in the show. Learn more about Tatyana and how she was discovered in this new video.
Tatyana is an illustrator, painter, and activist based in Brooklyn. She is known for her Stop Telling Women to Smile art series that addresses gender-based street art by placing drawn portraits of women, composed with captions that speak directly to offenders, outside in public spaces. Netflix has greenlit a season two of She’s Gotta Have It that will begin production in 2018.
