Mark your calendars! On Friday, June 25th, the most famous small town in the world will welcome rock icon Ronnie Spector as the headline performer for the ALL LOVE, ALL WOODSTOCK benefit party in honor of Constance McMillen, the Mississippi lesbian teen who, along with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), sued her high school after being told she could not attend the prom with her girlfriend. “I’m thrilled to be part of this event,” says Ronnie Spector. “I know what it feels like to grow up as an outsider, and as a parent and a mother, I felt for Constance. We have to love our kids.” We couldn’t agree more.
The star-studded benefit will be held at the Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, New York and will also feature live performances by neo-country sensation Laura Cantrell, indie band Hank and Cupcakes, Daniel Cartier and a host of performers from New York’s groovelicious Peace Bisquit, King Street Sounds, SeatoSun and Bigga Sounds. If that isn’t enough, comedian and renowned entertainer, Murray Hill, will serve as the master of ceremony for the evening.

“After everything I’ve been through with my school, I’m really looking forward to this party,” says Constance McMillen. “It’s so kind and generous of the people in Woodstock to put on an event like this that stands up for fairness for all students.” This event will kick off a big weekend for Constance McMillen, who will also serve as the Grand Marshal for the Gay Pride Parade in New York City on Sunday, June 27th.
All Love, All Woodstock will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 7 p.m., followed by a live auction including celebrity swag and autographed memorabilia from actors and musicians like Lady Gaga, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, Lucinda Williams, rock band Cobra Starship, and much more. All proceeds from the benefit will go to McMillen’s college education fund and the ACLU Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and AIDS Project. Tickets are priced on a two-tiered basis: General Admission: $50, and VIP: $100, and are on sale now at AllLoveAllWoodstock.com and click here to donate.
